Building the book of record for Canadian small business.
Fynix is accounting software for small businesses and the people who keep their books. It is in development in Canada, with a launch target of 2027.

Small business books are still kept by hand.
In many small businesses, receipts and bills are typed into a spreadsheet one line at a time, by the owner or by a bookkeeper. GST/HST, payroll deductions and year-end adjustments are then worked out on top of that spreadsheet. It is slow, mistakes are hard to find, and the owner rarely sees a clear picture of cash until it is too late to act.

One ledger for the whole business.
Invoices, bills, bank feeds, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, GST/HST and every financial statement read from a single set of books. AI reads documents, matches bank lines, explains the numbers and prepares drafts. A person confirms every entry.
- Canadian from the start
- GST/HST on every line, CPP, CPP2 and EI on every pay run, CRA returns prepared as drafts, Canadian bank feeds through Flinks.
- Human-confirmed AI
- The AI never posts to the ledger. Confidence decides how much checking a document needs, never whether a person checks it.
- Exact books
- Every entry balances or is rejected. Money is stored as exact decimals. The audit trail cannot be edited.
- Built for accountants too
- Accountant Pro lets a firm work across all of its clients, with bulk exports and the firm's name on reports.
Monthly subscriptions.
Businesses pay a monthly subscription. Accounting firms pay for Accountant Pro, which covers many client companies. A 14-day free trial with no card is planned for launch.
Prices are not set yet. They will be set after measuring the AI cost per active customer at each tier, so every plan keeps a positive margin. The aim is to be priced below the large incumbents while giving owners a simpler screen and more automation behind it.
