One set of books for everything your business does.

Fynix keeps invoices, bills, bank lines, receipts, payroll and GST/HST in one double-entry ledger. AI reads the paperwork and drafts the entries. You confirm each one, and every report is built from the same books.

Fynix is in development. Everything on this page is planned for the first release unless it says otherwise.

How it works

From paper to the ledger in four steps.

  1. 01 Bring it in

    Every way paperwork arrives

Take a photo with your phone, drag in files, forward emails to your own Fynix address, connect a Canadian bank account, or import a spreadsheet.

  2. 02 AI reads it

Read three times, checked once more

Vendor, date, tax and total are read at least three times, and each field gets its own confidence. If the subtotal plus tax does not equal the total, the document is flagged.

  3. 03 You confirm

    Nothing posts on its own

Each draft goes to a review lane based on amount and confidence. You confirm with one tap or edit first. Your name and the time are saved with it.

  4. 04 One ledger

    Every report agrees

The confirmed entry posts to the general ledger, balanced. Statements, tax returns and the Dashboard all read from the same books.

Getting information in

Six ways in. One review queue.

However a document arrives, it ends up in the same place: a draft waiting for you, with the lowest-confidence items first.

Bank accounts

CRA mail

Made for Canada

Canadian tax and payroll built into the books.

Tax is not an add-on in Fynix. Every account carries its GST/HST treatment, so returns are drafted from the same ledger as everything else.

  • GST/HST on every line.

Taxable, zero-rated and exempt treatment set on each account, with input tax credit limits such as 50% on meals.

  • Returns as drafts.

Fynix prepares the GST/HST return from your books. A person reviews and files it.

  • Payroll checked every run.

CPP, CPP2 and EI checked on each pay run, with reminders for T4 slips, Records of Employment and remittances.

  • Cash or accrual, and your fiscal year.

Chosen when you set up, and followed by every report and export.

  • Year-end in one file.

Soft and hard locks on closed years, retained earnings carried forward, and one Excel workbook with every report.
